I’ve been thinking a lot about the courage and love shown by Jose’s family in the midst of such an awful situation. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they endured, rushing him to the hospital, holding onto hope day after day for a whole month. It’s absolutely devastating that after fighting so hard, they have to carry this loss with no answers or justice. It really strikes me how strong they have been throughout this ordeal, and it’s so frustrating that the people responsible have not been brought to justice. If only more witnesses felt safe enough to come forward in cases like these – the fear must be overwhelming, but this family deserves to know why Jose was taken from them. It's crucial for the community to keep these cold cases alive and push for answers. Anyone with info, even if it seems small, should feel encouraged to step up. Justice shouldn't be out of reach. My thoughts are with them, wishing for closure and peace.
