Has anyone else looked into the role of witness intimidation in the Jairo Martinez case? I've been trying to piece together why some of the witnesses seemed hesitant to testify or changed their stories at different points during the trial. It's just so awful to think that people who wanted to come forward might have felt unsafe doing so. It makes you wonder how much pressure was involved behind the scenes and how it shaped the case. I can’t even begin to imagine what Jairo’s family went through, knowing that some were too scared to do the right thing. If anyone has insights or thoughts, I’d love to discuss further. How can we better protect those who are willing to stand up and speak for victims like Jairo?
