Does anyone know if there was ever any follow-up on the sightings of Zev Patt in hospitals around LA? I've been mulling over the idea that since he's autistic, and possibly experienced some sort of crisis that led to his disappearance, he might have sought or been taken to a mental health facility. It feels like there might have been a possible oversight in checking records from that time. I know privacy laws are tough, but does anyone have insights on how hospitals cooperate with missing person investigations or any similar cases where privacy laws may have posed challenges? The details about his condition make me wonder about how the system identifies and assists individuals like him if they're found without ID. It's so frustrating that after all these years, we still don't have more information.
