I've been following Roseline Pawai's case for a while, and something that's always puzzled me is the timing of when her wallet and pager were found. From what I gather, they were discovered on Wainaku Bridge shortly after she vanished. Did they find them the same night, or was it the next day? Timing could be crucial because if they were found quickly, it might give us clues about when she was last in that area. Also, I've read some of the reports about the unconfirmed sightings of her in Hilo after she went missing. It's strange to me that nothing concrete ever came out of those leads. Could she have had a reason to disappear intentionally, or would someone in town have noticed if she were still around? Maybe locals could share if they noticed anything odd or if the atmosphere changed around that time.
Did anyone else feel like the sightings of Roseline Pawai after her disappearance just add another layer of mystery? I mean, if those sightings were credible, doesn't that lean away from the suicide theory? I wonder if maybe she left on her own accord but something happened afterward? It's so frustrating to think we have these puzzle pieces, like her wallet and pager, but they just don’t fit neatly into any theory. Also, why haven't there been any leads from those sightings? You’d think someone who saw her might come forward with more details, even after all these years. It seems like there’s just enough to keep the case open, but not enough to actually move it forward.
