Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Charles Gatuthu, who was tragically shot and killed in Baltimore in 2017. I can't help but feel for his loved ones, who must be going through an incredibly difficult time. I wanted to talk about how this incident really sheds light on the broader issue of gun violence in certain neighborhoods. It makes me wonder about the role community programs and initiatives could play in addressing the root causes of violence. Are there any efforts being made in the South Carey Street area to engage with the youth or provide support to families? It seems like there needs to be a collective effort to ensure safety and prevent these tragic losses of life. I really hope that more light can be shed on what happened to Charles and that there has been some progress in the investigation after all these years. It just doesn’t seem right for a family to be left without answers for so long. If anyone knows anything more about what's being done in the community or potential leads in the case, please share. We all just want to see some justice and peace for Charles’ family.
