I’ve been following the tragic case of the Lupoe family, and something that really stood out to me was the fact that both Ervin and Ana lost their jobs at the same hospital. It's so hard to imagine the stress and despair they must have felt, especially with so many children to care for. I wonder if there were any warning signs or moments where they reached out for help. How can we as a community create spaces where families in distress feel supported and heard before it escalates to something so devastating? My heart goes out to their loved ones left behind, grappling with a loss that's impossible to fathom. If anyone has thoughts on how we can prevent similar situations, I'd love to hear them.
