Does anyone remember the tragic case of Rose Marie Alice Avalos in Paramount? I've been thinking a lot about her family and what they must still be going through. It's been so many years, and the lack of progress in Rose's case is just so concerning. I remember reading that despite being shot in March 2008, she bravely hung on for nearly a year before passing away in January 2009. It's so difficult to imagine the pain her loved ones have endured in this time.
I've always wondered about the location where she was shot, sitting in a parked car on Elburg Street. Does anyone know if that area had any security cameras or if there were any witnesses who might have seen something? It's just so disheartening to think that after all this time, there's still no clear path to justice for Rose. If anyone has any thoughts or insights on this, it would be great to share and maybe reignite some interest in finding answers. Rose and her family deserve that much at least.
Hi everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the emotional impact that unsolved cases, like Rose Marie Alice Avalos's, have on the families left behind. It's hard to imagine the pain her loved ones must be going through, especially knowing she survived for so long after the shooting. The wait and uncertainty of not knowing who did this, or if justice will ever be served, must be incredibly difficult.
It's troubling how some cases seem to lose momentum over time, leaving families in limbo. I wonder if there are any resources or organization efforts that could help keep attention on cases like Rose's, even after all these years. Does anyone know of any advocacy groups that focus on unsolved crimes or provide support to affected families?
Hoping for some much-needed justice for Rose and peace for those she left behind.
Thanks for listening, everyone.
