It's been so many years, but the pain of losing Alex Cortes and Abel Silva in such a violent and senseless way hasn't faded for their families and the community. I've always been frustrated by the lack of answers or justice in cases like this, where young lives are taken, and families are left with only memories and what-ifs. One aspect of this case that continues to haunt me is the van the witnesses saw. They mentioned it was possibly green, but that detail never led to anything concrete. How can a vehicle vanish so completely when there were eyewitnesses? It's tough to swallow that in a relatively small area like King City, there haven’t been more developments. I’m hopeful that renewed attention or advances in technology might finally bring about some answers. Sending strength to Alex's and Abel's loved ones, holding on to hope that the community can come together to help provide the information needed to solve this crime.
