It's truly devastating to think about the ripple effects Jonathan's death must have had on his family and friends in Paramount. I recently read about the role Nathalie Roman and Cindy Nunez played during the trial. It's one thing to witness such a traumatic event, but to then have the courage to step forward and testify is incredibly brave. Their testimony was crucial for the conviction, and I can only imagine the emotional turmoil they endured through this process. It's heartening to see justice served, but I hope they've received the support they need to heal from this experience. Gang violence leaves such a deep mark on communities, and I'm praying for everyone's healing and peace. If anyone has insight into how the community is doing now or resources they’ve found helpful, I'd love to hear more.
