Has anyone else been thinking about the security measures (or lack thereof) at Salon Meritage during the Seal Beach shooting? I can't stop wondering if there were any alarms or warning systems in place back then. It seems like such a horrifying situation that could have rattled any community to its core. Christy Lynn Wilson and the other victims should have been doing what they loved without fear. I've been reading that since then, many salons have started implementing safety drills and action plans, but it's heartbreaking that it took such a tragic event to motivate those changes. If anyone has insights or more information about how salon safety has evolved since the shooting, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Keeping Christy and all who were lost in my thoughts.

Hello everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the legal aftermath for the families affected by the Seal Beach tragedy, especially Christy Lynn Wilson’s family. It must be incredibly tough for them not only having to deal with the immense loss but also going through the emotional and exhausting process of a wrongful death lawsuit. I can't even begin to comprehend how challenging it must be to relive such a traumatic event in court, but I admire their courage to seek justice for Christy and the other victims. It seems like these lawsuits, while they can't bring loved ones back, are a way for families to hold individuals accountable and possibly bring about changes to help prevent future tragedies. The strength and resilience of Christy’s family, and others who suffer from such senseless acts of violence, never ceases to amaze me. My heart truly goes out to them and anyone else touched by this horrific incident. ? #RememberingChristy #JusticeForSealBeachVictims
