I’ve been following the case of Juan Zarate Flores closely, and something that always strikes me is the apparent randomness of the attack. Why was Juan targeted? Was it a case of mistaken identity, or did he unexpectedly encounter these men? It’s gut-wrenching to think about how he was just walking in his neighborhood, something we all do without considering how dangerous it can turn. My heart truly goes out to his family and friends who lost someone so dear. Living without answers must be an ongoing struggle for them. It makes me wonder if there have been any other incidents like this in the Wilmington area around that time—maybe something that wasn’t widely reported. Could there be a hidden link? If anyone knows anything, even if it seems minor, please think about coming forward. Juan deserves justice, and his family needs closure.
