I've been reading through some articles and posts about Lydia H. Sim, and I can't stop thinking about her family and friends. I can't imagine the level of pain and loss they're experiencing. I found out that she was so involved in her community and was known for her kindness and bright personality. It's just so unfair that someone so full of life and potential was taken in such a senseless way. I've seen discussions in other threads about how we can better support those affected by tragedies like this, and I'd really love to find out if there are any memorial funds or scholarships set up in Lydia's name. If anyone has information, please share. I think celebrating her life and supporting her family could offer a glimpse of hope during such a dark time.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the survivors from the Oikos University shooting and how they must be coping a decade later. It's really tough to imagine the kind of trauma they went through that day and how it must have altered their lives. Surviving something so terrifying and tragic can leave lasting scars, both visible and invisible. I hope the survivors have found some peace and have had access to the support and resources they need to heal. It's important for us as a community to continue supporting them and advocating for better mental health services, both for those impacted by such tragedies and as a preventative measure for everyone. If anyone has updates on how the survivors have been doing or any initiatives that have been started to support them, I'd love to hear more about it. Let's keep this conversation going and ensure that they are not forgotten. Sending lots of compassion and strength to everyone affected. ? - CuriousInCali

I’ve been following the Oikos University case, and my heart goes out to Lydia H. Sim’s family and friends. I can't even imagine the depth of their pain. What struck me most about Lydia’s story was hearing from her friends about how she always had a smile and encouraging words for everyone around her. It's clear that she was loved deeply by those who knew her. I came across a thread discussing how the community rallied together for vigils and memorials. It's comforting to know that in the face of such tragedy, people come together to support each other. I hope that Lydia's legacy of kindness continues to inspire those who knew her, and that her family finds strength in the love surrounding them. Such a tragic loss of precious young lives. Stay strong, everyone.
