It's so difficult to wrap my mind around the senseless tragedy at Oikos University. I've been reading more about the victims, and Grace Eunhae Kim's story particularly struck me. Her friends and family described her as adventurous and dedicated, which makes this all the more devastating. Grace seemed like the kind of person who could light up a room just by being in it. It's apparent from the heartfelt messages people have shared online that she touched many lives. I can't imagine the depths of sorrow her loved ones are experiencing. This tragedy underscores the randomness and cruelty of gun violence. I've been thinking a lot about how our communities can come together to support those impacted by such devastating events. While it's comforting to know that Goh's sentencing has provided some closure, it’s just a small step in a much larger conversation on how to prevent the next tragedy. Sending all my love and thoughts to Grace's family and the families of all the victims as they continue to heal from this unimaginable loss.
