I came across something today that really got me thinking about Jorge Alvarado's case. It’s the way his family turned their unimaginable grief into action and advocacy. In the face of such a terrible loss, their strength and courage are incredibly inspiring. It's no small feat to take something so painful and use it to push for change and awareness about gang violence in their community. I can't even imagine the healing process they’ve had to go through while also trying to make sure Jorge's story brings about positive change. Has anyone been involved in or know of any community programs they’ve initiated? It would be great to see how we can support these efforts or get involved.
