I recently stumbled upon Willie Simmons' case, and something about it really stuck with me. It's been over two decades since he vanished, and I can't help but wonder if they covered all the bases early on. Did they interview everyone he knew? Maybe there's someone out there with a piece of information that seemed insignificant at the time, but could actually be crucial. It's frustrating to think there might be untapped avenues that could bring closure. I hope more people in or near Clinton from back then come forward, even if they think what they know isn't important. Sometimes the smallest details can break open these old cases.
Does anyone have more info on Willie Simmons' family background? I was browsing through some old articles, and it seems like there's hardly any mention of his relatives or upbringing. Sometimes, understanding the family dynamics can offer more insight into a person's life and potential reasons they might suddenly vanish. Not suggesting anything specific, just curious if anyone's dug into this aspect or found details that might have been overlooked. I know it's been a long time since he disappeared, but maybe revisiting family ties could uncover connections or spark new ideas. Thoughts?
Do you know how to contact his family? I’d like to talk to anyone in his family .

You are probably going to have to go through the investigator for that. I think I found the phone number of who you can talk to. just ask the investigator assigned missing persons. 225-683-5459. It is the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of media coverage on the Willie Simmons case? I stumbled across his name while browsing through missing persons databases, and it seems like there’s been very little attention given to his disappearance outside of the local area. It’s been over two decades, and yet there seems to be a lack of public awareness. Why do some cases get nationwide attention while others, like Willie’s, continue to fly under the radar? It’s really baffling. I wonder if increased exposure might help uncover new leads. ? What do you all think about the role of media in keeping these cases alive? Any insights or similar cases you’ve come across?
There were three missing persons cases in East Feliciana in 2001. The only one I heard of was Wesley Dale Morgan . Never heard a word about the other two!! I’d like to talk to his family. Any information on how to get in touch with them is greatly appreciated
