Did anyone else notice the location where Matthew was killed? The Vermont Knolls neighborhood can be a tough area, and it's so disheartening to see this kind of violence happening in places where people are just trying to live their lives. I've read that a lot of residents there feel scared to speak up because they're worried about gang retaliation. This kind of fear must be unbearably overwhelming for the community and adds another layer of tragedy to Matthew's case. If only there was a way to support people in these communities to feel safe enough to come forward. I really hope someone who knows something finds the courage to speak out. Justice for Matthew is so important, not just for his family, but for the safety and healing of the whole neighborhood.
