I'm really troubled thinking about how Omar and Jason's families have been hanging on for so long without answers. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they must feel each day. It's particularly frustrating that, despite witnesses seeing the SUV and the composite sketches being circulated, there's still been no significant break in the case. Living in neighboring areas, I've noticed how this kind of violence has a ripple effect on the community. It's not just the loss of two young lives, which is tragic enough; it's the fear and uncertainty it creates for everyone else too. I really hope someone out there who saw something or knows anything feels compelled to come forward. We owe it to Omar and Jason’s families to keep their fight for justice alive.
