I can't stop thinking about the promise Mariana made to bake a cake for Mother's Day. It breaks my heart knowing how such a simple, loving gesture will never be fulfilled. Mariana’s passion for baking and her quiet, kind-hearted nature just added to the tragic loss of this beautiful soul. As someone who loves baking, I can’t imagine how something so filled with love can be cut short by such senseless violence. It’s a reminder of how precious life is and how quickly things can change. If only someone could have seen the signs, but it's often so difficult to know what's happening behind closed doors. My prayers go out to the family and the community mourning this unspeakable loss.
