I've been digging into the case of Magdalena Riquious, and I'm really curious about the language barrier aspect. It's tough to imagine being in a foreign country at the age of 15 and not being able to communicate easily. Could her inability to speak English have played a role in her disappearance or maybe delayed efforts to find her? It's sadly common in some cases where vital information isn't shared or understood properly because of language issues. Has anyone come across any similar cases or know if there were any specific outreach efforts in the Hispanic community at that time to gather information? It just feels like a critical piece of the puzzle that may have been overlooked back then. Any thoughts?
