It's been so long since Elisha Jane Trusty went missing, and I still wonder about those first days after she disappeared. Was she reaching out to anyone, or planning to meet someone who could have helped her get to San Jose? It's hard to imagine that she left without making contact with at least someone she trusted. Given her history of running away, it seems possible she had someone waiting for her. It's frustrating not knowing if anyone saw her during those crucial first hours or days. I really hope someone out there remembers something and comes forward, because every little detail could make a difference. It's never too late for fresh information.

Hey everyone, I've been diving into Elisha Jane Trusty's case from 2004, and something's been puzzling me. Has anyone looked into the routes she'd have likely taken if she actually planned on heading to San Jose? I mean, it's quite the journey from Jeffersonville, Indiana. With her history of running away, this isn't the first time she's taken off, but the distance this time seems so much bigger. I'm curious if there were any bus or train records checked back then? Or maybe if someone like a friend or contact was out that way? It's been so long, and yet no sign of her or any confirmed sightings. That lack of evidence is what makes me wonder if she managed to even leave Indiana. Any thoughts on this?
