I’ve been following cold cases in LA, and I recently read up on David Ng’s tragic case. Something that’s been on my mind is the role of eyewitness accounts in these situations. It seems that Ng was killed in broad daylight, which makes me wonder just how much witnesses could have potentially seen, even if it was just peripheral details. I always think about the trauma a passerby might go through after witnessing something like this. It's heavy for everyone involved.
I was also curious if anyone knows more about the efforts to support and protect witnesses? Offering anonymity is great, but there's got to be more that can be done to reassure people they’ll be safe for doing the right thing. It almost feels like creating a stronger bond with the community could potentially lead to more people stepping forward with vital information.
I really hope justice comes through for David and his loved ones. It's been far too long without answers.

It's so unsettling to think about how David Ng's case is still unsolved after all these years. I live not too far from where the incident happened and remember hearing about it back in 2014. It's sad to think that someone just walking down the street had their life ended so abruptly. It makes me think about his family and how they must still be seeking answers and dealing with such a profound loss.
I have been following some of the developments over the years, and it frustrates me that despite the efforts of the LAPD, justice hasn't been served yet. I appreciate the work being done, but I truly hope someone out there who knows something will decide to step up and help bring closure to David's family. This case needs the support and awareness from everyone — the more attention it gets, the better chance there might be for new leads. Stay strong, and let's hope for a breakthrough soon.
