I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the events of August 20, 2014. From everything I've read and heard about Theo Rodden, he seemed like an incredibly kind and talented individual who touched many lives in Mill Valley and the broader Marin County area. It's so difficult to grasp how someone with such a positive impact could be lost in such a sudden and violent way. One thing I keep thinking about is his work at Rancho Nicasio. People say he wasn't just a guy behind the soundboard; he was someone who truly loved what he did and always went the extra mile to support musicians and create a great atmosphere. Imagine the hole his absence must have left there—it must have been so hard for his colleagues and the regulars who knew him well. The music community in that area was truly lucky to have him as part of their family. Even though the investigation concluded, I truly hope Theo's family feels supported by their community and can find peace in the memories they have of him. If anyone here knew him or has attended events in Mill Valley, how have things changed since he’s been gone?
