I came across Breon's case while reading about unsolved murders in Oakland, and I can't shake the thought of his family waiting for answers all these years later. It sounds like he had such a bright future ahead of him, and it’s awful that his loved ones have been left grasping for justice and closure. I'm curious if anyone knows more about his interests or aspirations? Sometimes learning about the victims as individuals can remind us of the importance of pushing for resolutions in these cases and keep the memory of who they were alive. It's beyond frustrating that so many young people in Oakland were caught in similar situations back in 2014—something really needs to change to prevent these tragedies. Anyone else have thoughts on this or connections to Breon’s story?

Has anyone else been reflecting on Breon's relationship with his friends lately? I’ve been reading about the case, and what struck me the most is how much his friends meant to him. It’s clear from everything I’ve seen that he was well-loved and had a tight-knit circle who really cherished him. I can't imagine how hard it must be for them to navigate this loss, especially since he was such a vibrant part of their lives. I wonder if any of them might know something, even something small, that could help lead to new insights about what happened that night in West Oakland. It must be so hard to hold onto hope, but sometimes it’s those meaningful friendships that can shed light in unexpected ways. Keeping Breon, his family, and friends in my thoughts and hoping for strength and answers in this tough journey ahead.

I've been following Breon Coleman's case and can't stop thinking about his family. It's incredibly difficult to imagine what they must be going through knowing their son’s murderer is still out there. I came upon an article recently that highlighted the challenges specific to West Oakland and wondered if this could provide any insight into why Breon was found there. Given that Breon wasn't from the area, do you think there might be someone who knows why he was in West Oakland that night? I'm hoping someone might come forward and share information they might have heard or seen. It provokes such a huge sense of injustice not only because of Breon's age but also because families shouldn't have to live with unanswered questions and the absence of their loved ones without at least knowing why. I genuinely hope someone comes forward to shed light on this soon.
