I've been following Maria Skowronek's case for a while and something that's always puzzled me is the absence of any surveillance footage from the day she went missing. I mean, this is Chicago, a city where cameras are everywhere! It's strange that there aren't any leads about her movements after leaving her sister's house. Does anyone know if the area she was last seen in had cameras back in 2005? And if so, were they ever checked? Seems like a small detail, but it could provide some vital insight. These little pieces are crucial, even years later. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
