Hey everyone, I was doing some reading on Kathleen Ellis's case, and something that really caught my eye was this long gap between when her family last saw her in 2002 and when she was reported missing in 2006. It's puzzling because from what I understand, she had family in the area. Does anyone know if there were any specific reasons it took that long for a missing person report to be filed? I’m not trying to place blame—I just think understanding the timeline could help piece things together. It's quite concerning that there’s such a large window where nobody seems to know for sure where she was. Would love to hear any thoughts or insights from others familiar with the case!

I was reading through Kathleen Ellis’s case and found it so intriguing that no one reported her missing until almost four years after her family last saw her in 2002. It made me wonder about the dynamics within her family or circle during those years. Did she often go off the grid, or was there something else going on that delayed the report? Those are some significant gaps in time that could hold so many answers if we only knew more about that period. Also, knowing that she was last seen in Ann Arbor in 2006—could she have known someone there, or was it just a coincidence that she ended up in that area? It seems like a needle-in-a-haystack situation, but sometimes the smallest details can break a case wide open.
