It’s so hard to fathom how such a loving family could face such a tragic end. I’ve been thinking a lot about the sister, Kimberly Haynes. Growing up in what sounds like a close-knit family, having this happen must be beyond devastating for her. I can’t imagine the emotional turmoil she’s enduring, losing both parents and essentially her brother, all at once. I wonder how she's coping with this immense loss and if she’s receiving any support from counseling services or the community. It’s crucial during these times that she has a strong support network. I hope the community that loved Lissa and David so much is rallying behind her. Kimberly, if you ever read this, my heart goes out to you and your family. You’re not alone, and I hope you find some semblance of peace along the way.

Has anyone here looked into the 911 call that David Haynes made the night of the murders? I can’t stop thinking about how terrifying that must’ve been for him. From what I've read, he called for help for Lissa, unaware of the impending danger to himself. It’s just so tragic to picture him, a skilled emergency physician, in such a helpless position while trying to protect his wife. It's painful to imagine what they were going through in those final moments. I think it's a stark reminder of the urgent need for better support systems for families managing severe mental health issues. Wishing strength and peace to Kimberly and the rest of the family.

I can't stop thinking about Kimberly Haynes and how she's coping with all this. Imagine losing both parents in such a terrible way, and then having your own brother responsible. I read somewhere that she was really close to her mom, Lissa, and they shared a love for animals. It must be incredibly tough for her to carry on without those special moments they used to have together. Thanksgiving will probably never be the same for her again. There's no easy way to move past something so painful, and her grief must be unimaginable. I just hope she has a strong support system around her and that she's able to find some peace with time. It's hard to make sense of any of this, but I really feel for Kimberly and the rest of the family. Tragedies like this shake you to your core, and it's a reminder of how fragile life can be.
