Ishmael's story has stayed with me ever since I first heard about it, and I can’t help but think about the last moments at La Hacienda. To those who were at the bar that night, you must carry a heavy burden of that memory. I can’t imagine how haunting it must be to see such a senseless act unfold, right before your eyes, knowing it took someone so loved. Those final moments when Ishmael made his way back into the bar and collapsed—what sheer strength and fight he must have had, even in those final moments. It breaks my heart to think that he was just doing his job, ensuring everyone else’s safety, and then this happens. I really hope that anyone who was present, or who has even the slightest bit of information, finds it in their heart to come forward. Ishmael’s family deserves answers, and the community deserves resolution. Stay strong, everyone. Sending love to Ishmael's family and friends as you continue to seek justice. ? #JusticeForIshmael
