I keep thinking about how many lives were shattered by that horrible night on Cordelia Avenue. Losing someone like Robert Brown is a tragedy for his family and friends, especially knowing he was just one of so many during such a terrifying year in Baltimore. It's distressing to think of the fear and pain that these incidents inflict on communities already struggling with violence.
I’ve heard people mention that the lack of witnesses willing to come forward has been a massive obstacle for the investigation. I can see why folks might be hesitant with such high crime rates, but it's tough to see how justice can be served when there's not enough evidence or leads to follow. I wonder what it might take for the community to feel safe enough to be more involved in such cases.
My heart goes out to Robert Brown’s family. I can't even begin to imagine the constant heartache they're feeling and the frustration of not having answers. It must be so painful to deal with this kind of loss amidst a systemic issue that affects so many. Hopefully, there will be some progress in this case, and others like it, to bring some sense of closure to those who are suffering.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Robert Brown, who was senselessly killed on October 31, 2017, on Cordelia Avenue in Baltimore. It's just devastating how this wave of violence has gripped Baltimore, and it's hard to wrap my head around the scale of loss that year. Robert's case seems to be stuck due to a lack of information and community involvement, and it's just frustrating to see this continue to happen.
I can't stop thinking about the role that community cooperation could play in these investigations. Perhaps if there was a way to foster better relationships between residents and law enforcement, it might create an environment where people feel safer to come forward with information. It's not only about solving Robert's case but about building effective strategies to prevent further tragedies.
My heart goes out to Robert's friends and family. I hope they eventually find some peace and justice, however long it may take. Does anyone in the community have thoughts on steps that could be taken to better engage the community in these investigations?
Has anyone else been keeping up with the investigations, or rather the lack thereof, in cases like Robert Brown’s? It's just hard to wrap my mind around how many families are left without answers, dealing with the shock and grief. 2017 was such a dreadful year for Baltimore, and Robert's death is a painful example of this violence epidemic.
I keep thinking about how communities are supposed to heal or feel safe when the streets they walk every day are plagued with unresolved cases. It's frustrating and truly saddening to see such a low level of community engagement. We all want justice for victims like Robert, but how do we get more people to step up and speak out? Would love to hear any thoughts or ideas on how we, as a community, can support his family better and push for more awareness and intervention.
