It's really difficult to wrap my head around what Joseph's family and friends must be going through. I can't even imagine losing a loved one in such a senseless way. What I find particularly concerning is the pressure that parties and social gatherings can impose on young people. The fact that there were so many individuals at the party who could potentially help solve this case, yet are hesitant to come forward, is troubling. I understand the fear of being labeled a snitch, or possibly becoming a target, but keeping silent only lets this violence cycle continue. Joseph was so young, just starting his life. I truly hope that with time, someone will find the courage to speak up and help bring some closure to his family. They deserve answers and justice for Joseph.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the tragic loss of Joseph Burrola, and I keep coming back to the atmosphere at these house parties. It's supposed to be a place for celebration and connection, but it turned into something so devastating that night. I can't imagine the trauma that everyone there, especially Joseph's family and friends, must be going through. What's frustrating is how many people were there and yet still, so few are coming forward with information. I understand that fear can be a powerful silencer, especially with something as serious as a shooting. However, keeping quiet isn't just withholding justice for Joseph and his family—it's allowing this cycle of violence to continue. I'm really hoping that as time goes on, someone will feel safe enough to break that silence. If you were at the party or know someone who was, please encourage them to do the right thing. Joseph and his loved ones deserve answers. My thoughts are with them during this incredibly difficult time.
