Has anyone looked into whether Russell Takeo Shigeura had a history of being near the Golden Gate Bridge prior to his disappearance? I'm wondering if he had a routine of visiting the bridge or if it was a one-time event. Sometimes these little details can help build a more complete picture of his last known actions. Additionally, with the investigations, did they ever check CCTV footage from days before April 24th, 2008, to see if he was in the area earlier that week? I'm not from the San Francisco area, but I imagine capturing CCTV footage around such a massive landmark could be pretty challenging.
Has anyone else noticed the strange lack of media coverage on Russell Takeo Shigeura’s case? I've followed missing person cases for a while now, and it seems odd to me how little attention his disappearance has received, considering the circumstances with the Golden Gate Bridge. I know cases like these can be difficult due to the location and presumed outcome, but should we be pushing for more awareness to potentially uncover new leads? What do you all think about the community's role in cases like this where the situation seems so final, but technically remains open because no remains were found?
