I've been following the tragedy involving Rafael Cervantes and I can't help but think about the impact this has had on the Hiddenbrooke community. Vallejo isn't a huge city, and something like this creates ripples that affect so many people. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for Cervantes' wife to make the 911 call and then deal with the aftermath. It must be incredibly hard for families to cope with such sudden and overwhelming grief. Let's not forget the importance of reaching out to anyone we know who may be going through a rough patch—sometimes we just don't realize how close things are to breaking point. Thoughts and prayers go out to all their friends and relatives who are left trying to pick up the pieces.
