Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the testimony from the neighbors during Destiny Angel's trial. It's just so chilling how people who live so close can sometimes witness the escalation of a domestic dispute without realizing how deadly it could become. One neighbor mentioned hearing raised voices frequently but never imagined it would lead to Hugo's death. It's a haunting reminder of how important it is to be aware and possibly intervene in conflicts that seem to be getting out of hand. I can't imagine the weight these neighbors must carry, feeling that in hindsight, maybe they could have done something, even if just to call in a noise disturbance.
