I've been following Duke Herrera's case, and it genuinely hits me deeply. The fact that he was only 24 and had a heart of gold, from what his family says, just makes this tragedy so tough to process. I wanted to touch on something—Duke's disappearance back in 2014. Does anyone else think that might have been a warning sign that he needed more protection or community support? It saddens me that someone as trusting as Duke could be left so vulnerable. I hope this case pushes for better safety measures for folks with intellectual disabilities. Sending my thoughts to Duke's family—no one should ever have to endure something like this. Stay strong.
