It's so frustrating to see another young life taken away senselessly. Vance Byrd’s murder has always stuck with me, especially thinking about how he was the only one hit, despite others being around. I can't imagine how terrifying and confusing that moment must have been for everyone present. It's like the shooter had a specific target, but why Vance? It just breaks my heart for his family who still doesn’t have closure after all these years. I wonder, does anyone know if the area had surveillance cameras that could have caught something? It's 2015, but you’d think there might have been footage somewhere nearby that could help piece together what really happened that night. I really hope someone out there remembers something, even the smallest detail could make a difference. Keeping his family in my thoughts and hoping they find justice soon.

I can't stop thinking about how Vance Byrd's murder still hasn't been solved after all these years. It’s such a daunting reminder for his family and the community. I recently moved to the Vermont Vista area, and it’s frustrating not having any updates or answers. My thoughts go out to his friends and loved ones who have had to endure this uncertainty. I commend the LAPD for continuing to work on the case, but it feels like they need more help. Sometimes I wonder if there's someone out there with that one piece of information that could crack this case wide open.
