I keep thinking about Bobby Joe Salazar’s story and wondering about the fear and chaos he and his friend must have felt during those last moments. It’s just so unsettling to imagine how a simple drive could turn into such a tragic event. Has anyone else thought about the traffic light where it all went down? I drive through that intersection at Walnut Grove Avenue often, and it’s chilling to realize something so violent happened there. Every time I stop at that light now, I find myself looking around, imagining what happened that night. I’ve read that no real progress has been made in the case, and it’s frustrating. How does someone just vanish like that after committing such an atrocious act? Sending strength to his family as they continue to search for answers. I hope someday justice is served for Bobby.
