This case has been haunting me, especially thinking about the neighbors who must have been so confused and worried that day. Imagine living on Thorup Lane, knowing Neal and Robin for years, and then receiving the shocking news of Neal's death right there in the neighborhood. It's terrifying to think what tension must have been building behind closed doors while everything seemed so ordinary from the outside. I wonder how much, if anything, the neighbors knew or suspected before this happened. Did Robin and Neal seem distant or troubled in recent times? The part about nobody else being home also sticks with me. If there were any domestic issues, perhaps those closest to them could provide some insights that weren't immediately obvious. It's just one of those instances where you never really know what's going on in someone else's home until it's too late. It must be incredibly distressing for their community to be left with so many unanswered questions. My thoughts are with Neal's loved ones during this difficult period.
