This case has left so many unanswered questions and it's so painful to see this family's heartbreak stretched out over so many years. I was reading a bit more about the timeline of that tragic night and I found myself wondering about that mysterious person who approached John and Ryan asking for directions.
From what I understand, this was not a busy area where random passersby are common, especially at 8 p.m. in late November, when darkness falls early. That really stuck out to me. It just seems odd that they were approached like that, especially considering the crime rate in that area wasn't particularly high.
Has anyone else looked into whether there were any similar incidents reported in nearby neighborhoods? I can’t shake the feeling that the person who came up to them might’ve been involved in something more beyond this tragedy. It's deeply unsettling to think that someone out there might know what happened and hasn't come forward yet.
