I can't even begin to imagine the fear and chaos that ensued both on the road and in the hearts of Daniel's family upon hearing the news. The fact that several items were thrown from the vehicle during the chase just makes my stomach turn. It's like they were trying to erase their involvement piece by piece as if that could undo what happened. I'm grateful to the officers who pursued them and managed to recover those discarded pieces of evidence. It speaks volumes about their dedication and the importance of meticulous police work in ensuring that justice is served. My heart goes out to Daniel's loved ones who have had to endure all of this. No one should have to experience such a loss or the drawn-out process of seeking justice. It's a reminder of the ripple effect such violence has on so many people.
