Does anyone remember the area around South of Market in San Francisco back in February 2013? When Mei Ying Lau vanished, I recall there was some construction going on, and it made me wonder if any of the workers might have seen something, intentionally or not. The days following her disappearance were strangely quiet, as if the city just folded the story into its larger narrative and moved on. With few leads and the general busyness of the area, I can't help but think there might be small details lost in the shuffle. If you were in that neighborhood and remember anything that seemed off, maybe it's worth mentioning it to the authorities. Every little bit of info could help piece together what happened to Mei.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Mei Ying Lau’s case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the lack of media attention. It's baffling, given that she disappeared in San Francisco, a major city. From what I've gathered, her story barely got any coverage back in 2013, and it seems to have faded even more over time. We all know that media can sometimes be crucial in solving these cases, so it's disheartening that there hasn’t been a greater push to get her story out there.
I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with raising awareness for cases like this? Maybe there are ways we can help amplify the situation and hopefully bring some new tips or leads to the surface. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions!
