It's been a few years since Patrick's passing, but the community still remembers him and keeps his memory alive. I can't help but think about how many lives are forever changed by the ripple effects of these violent acts. The news often focuses on the crime itself, but what about the person Patrick was? From what I've gathered, he was a young man with dreams and a future ahead of him. We sometimes forget that these victims had plans and aspirations, not too different from our own. It's heartbreaking for his family to face the holidays each year without him. I truly hope that they have found some peace as they continue to grieve his loss. We need to do better as a community to prevent such senseless tragedies from happening again. Does anyone know if there have been any initiatives or programs started in the Sacramento area to address these issues since Patrick's case?
