Have any of you followed the Kenia Buckner case? I've been thinking a lot about the children who witnessed such an unimaginable tragedy at such a young age. It's absolutely devastating to think about what they went through and the trauma they must face moving forward. I'm hoping they're receiving the love and support they need from family and counselors. It breaks my heart to think of them running into the street, trying to find help after witnessing their mother's murder. Their bravery in such a terrifying moment speaks volumes, but it’s horrible that they had to be in that position to begin with. I've read that community members have been rallying around them to provide support, but the emotional scars from such a horrific experience can last a lifetime. If anyone knows any trustworthy charities or funds set up to support these kids, I’m interested in helping out. They deserve so much more than the hand they were dealt.
