I recently came across the case of Lamar Murphy while reading about unsolved murder investigations, and I can't help but feel frustrated by the lack of resolution. It's been over six years now, and knowing that Lamar’s family still doesn't have justice is just unimaginable. What really bothers me is the description of one of the suspects — a Hispanic male in his teens or early twenties. Given that the incident happened in a populated area, it feels like someone must know something. It's essential for anyone with any piece of information, no matter how small it may seem, to speak up. Lamar deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. I genuinely hope that with continued attention and community efforts, someone will come forward. This young man had his whole life ahead of him, and it's just so unfair how it was stolen from him. If you’re in the area or know someone who might have been, please urge them to contact Detective Pat Smyth. Let's help bring some closure to Lamar's loved ones.
