Has anyone else noticed how often elderly people with dementia go missing in urban areas like Orlando? I just came across the case of Robert Earle Morgan, 79, missing since September 2013. He left his home and vanished into thin air. It's so puzzling and sad—he was wearing pretty distinctive clothes for an older guy, a camouflage baseball cap and a polo with pinstripes. And, given he had dementia and hypertension, it's a wonder how he managed to leave without catching anyone's attention. I'm really curious about whether any local businesses or residents saw him that day. It's baffling that there aren't more leads despite the area being decently populated. Do you think the community often overlooks such individuals because they assume they're just out for a walk? Also, are there any efforts in place to improve search strategies for missing seniors with medical conditions in busy cities?
