I've been following the tragic situation of Frederick Jay Bowdy closely, and I can't help but feel for his family and friends during such a distressing time. One thing that really stood out to me was the role social media played in this case. It's alarming how Bowdy's last moments were broadcast live on Facebook. It makes me think about the power and immediacy of these platforms and how they're becoming part of these stories. It's truly unsettling to consider that while his family in Texas was desperately trying to reach out for help, a live video was being shared online. I hope that, in the future, we find better ways to use technology in moments of crisis to support individuals like Bowdy who are struggling. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
