I’ve been following Johnny Broadway’s case for some time now and recently came across something interesting regarding cold case investigations. It’s been over two decades since Johnny was tragically taken from his loved ones and the Shreveport community, and I can only imagine the pain his family must still feel. I was reading about advances in DNA technology and how they’ve helped solve some cold cases that seemed impossible to crack in the past.
Has anyone heard if there’s been any movement on revisiting Johnny’s case using these new techniques? It's frustrating to think there might be something that could bring answers if only the right resources were applied. Perhaps this can be a point of renewed interest for those in authority or for local activism. I hold out hope for Johnny’s family and for all the families waiting to hear what happened to their loved ones. Does anyone here have connections with information or suggestions on how to push this forward with local law enforcement or community groups? Let’s keep Johnny’s memory alive and continue the search for justice.
Was anyone else struck by the location where Johnny Broadway was found? It's unsettling to think about how many people might have been near that levee on Aero Drive back in 1999 and noticed something odd but didn’t realize its significance. I can’t help but wonder if there were any clues left at the scene that might have gone unnoticed or overlooked. The community's involvement through Crime Stoppers is encouraging, but I wish we had more tangible details to work with. It's a chilling reminder of how many unanswered questions remain and how important it is for people to come forward with any memories they might have, no matter how small. Johnny and his family deserve to have the truth come to light, and maybe with more eyes on this, some piece of the puzzle will eventually fall into place.
Hi everyone,
I've been digging into Johnny Broadway's unsolved case, and I can't shake the eerie sense surrounding the location where his body was discovered. The levee behind the 600 block of Aero Drive isn't exactly a bustling area, which makes me wonder why that particular spot? It's chilling to think about how isolated it must have been at night.
There have been some rumors about strange activities around that area back in the late '90s, but nothing concrete. Not to mention, with how little lighting there was, it might have been chosen deliberately to avoid detection. Could there have been witnesses who didn’t realize what they saw? All it takes is a small detail for light to break through.
I really feel for Johnny’s family and can’t imagine the pain of waiting for answers that might allow them some peace. Maybe someone will remember something that seems insignificant but could make a difference. Every little bit matters so much in these situations.
Fingers crossed that someday soon, JD and the community get the closure they deserve.
Stay safe, everyone.
