I find it really strange how little information there is about Luis's time in Sonoyta before he disappeared. Has anyone looked into whether there were any local events or festivals going on at the time? Sometimes people go missing around big gatherings, and there might be more witnesses to talk to. Also, if he was working there, did anyone verify what his last work assignment was? Maybe someone from his job has more info. It's just odd that nothing has surfaced with such a recent timeline.

I've been following the Luis case for a while and something that's been bugging me is the area around Sonoyta, Sonora. For those not familiar, it's a small Mexican border town, and from what a buddy of mine who travels a lot has mentioned, it's got a pretty heavy presence of border patrol and some cartel activity.
Now, I know Luis was reportedly last seen working there, but has anyone dug into why he might've been in that specific location? Was it just for work, or did he have ties there? I can't shake the feeling that the location might hold more clues than we're aware of.
If anyone's got local insight or has heard more about the area, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
