It's so tragic to hear what Andrew Williams' family must have gone through during those uncertain times. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and confusion they experienced while waiting for answers. The fact that for years, there was no clarity around what truly happened must have been unbearable for them. The involvement of someone Andrew knew and the claim that it was self-defense just adds another layer of complexity and sorrow to the whole situation.
I'm also curious about why Manalastas drove across the Carquinez Bridge into Vallejo after the incident. Was he heading somewhere with intent, or was it a panicked move after what happened? And the sight of Andrew’s car abandoned on Grizzly Peak Boulevard just chills me. It's unsettling to think about the moments leading up to and following such a traumatic event. I hope that the resolution, even with the complexities of the case, brings some level of closure to Andrew's loved ones. My heart really goes out to them.
