I’ve been reading a lot about Mario Clavo’s case lately and can’t help but think about how crucial community involvement really is in these situations. NOPD has tried to pull out all the stops with modern forensic science techniques, like DNA testing, to find new leads, but sometimes it’s that one piece of information from the public that can turn everything around. I've seen it happen in other cases, and it really can bring some much-needed answers to the victim’s loved ones.
