I've been thinking a lot about the tragic case of Jose Tarin. It's been so long, and yet it feels like it happened just yesterday. Every time I pass by Avenue One and Gurr Road, it hits me how a vibrant young life was cut short in our neighborhood. Imagine being Jose's family, waiting for answers year after year—it must be incredibly difficult to live with so much uncertainty.
One aspect that really puzzles me is the lack of eyewitnesses. It seems like such a busy area, doesn't it? I always wonder if anyone saw something unusual that night or in the days leading up to it. Maybe someone saw a person or a vehicle that didn't belong there. Even the smallest detail could be the key to unlocking this case. I feel like we owe it to Jose and his family to keep talking about it and not let his memory fade. If anyone new has moved to the area since 2017, it's worth it to share what they might have noticed back then. Every bit helps.
Does anyone else have thoughts on what we can do as a community to support Jose's family and keep this case alive?
