It's so gut-wrenching to think about Fast Freddy's last moments. I recently read a bit more about the friendship between Freddy and David. It's just tragic how after 30 years of being pals, everything ended the way it did. Those who knew Freddy keep saying what a solid guy he was—someone who was always there for his friends and lived life to the fullest. I can’t imagine the pain his family must be going through. It’s especially heartbreaking to think about how things escalated between two longtime friends over something that should have never led to violence. Hug your loved ones a bit tighter today—life's so unpredictable. Anyone else curious about whether anything significant happened that day before the drinking started? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Has anyone else been looking into the relationship between Freddy and Kobak? I find it so difficult to wrap my head around how a friendship spanning 30 years could end in such a violent manner. It's just so incredibly tragic that what seemed like a regular evening with a friend devolved into this horrific situation. I keep thinking about what Freddy's family must be going through. Losing someone you love so suddenly and violently must be devastating. My heart really goes out to them. Kobak's claim of not remembering the incident due to heavy drinking doesn’t seem to lessen the tragedy in any way, at least to me. It just indicates how dangerous excessive drinking can be, especially if it clouds judgment and leads to irreversible actions. Such a sad case all around. Any thoughts on how they could have avoided reaching such a point of no return?
